The original mansion house from 1890 is located in the city centre of Antwerp.
The project aims to emphasize the atmosphere of the original house and at the same time to create a subtle but clear language between old and new.
Part of the back volume adjacent to the internal courtyard has been demolished and instead a new volume in concrete was build in order to better and clearly defines the space between the courtyard and the kitchen.
