Woven

dubai is known as being one of the most fast growing metropolis in the world. this competition was organized by the sheikh of dubai to give this unique city a new landmark, that had to stand out because of its originality and cultural symbolism.

we designed a concept that combines different cultural, symbolic and religious aspects of the arab world and made it into a building. 3 different spiraling movements represent 3 of these values and and are interwoven (that is one of the traditional crafts) into a shape that goes up in the sky and forms a tower.
